Ethanol Energy is another endeavor to help preserve the environment for the clean world that Mitr Phol Group has entrusted Petro Green Co.Ltd., one of Mitr Phol’s subsidiary companies, to execute. We produce pure ethanol of 99.5% from molasses, sugarcane juice and other energy crop. By 2009, we can produce ethanol of 800,000 litres per day, this capacity makes Petro Green the biggest resource of ethanol in ASEAN.

As ethanol is produced from agricultural products that can be grown in abundance in our homeland, the promotion of ethanol business is, therefore, a vital component in elevating the standard of living and quality of life of the Thai farmers. In addition, ethanol is a good substitute for fossil fuel, the reserve of which is being depleted every year. Thus, the use of ethanol can reduce the dependence on imported fossil fuel and be the good choice for all mankind to fight against global warming.
